Bett 2014 - Round Up

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who visited our stand during the Bett show and for the enthusiasm we are seeing for the MOOC. This was our very first exhibition which was a great success. Our MOOC kicked off well with a mention by the Education Secretary Michael Gove, who spoke of Cambridge Computing Online in conjunction with how technology and computing are changing education, during the opening of the conference.

Our stand was buzzing with activity, ranging from programme of presentations covering coding, computing, literacy, our MOOC and Raspberry Pi to our ‘Win a Raspberry Pi’ competition which saw 50 winners take home their very own Raspberry Pi over the four days of the show. 

Our MOOC had also been shortlisted as a finalist for the BETT 2014 Awards, in the 'Free digital content/Open educational resources’ category and despite narrowly missing out to Microsoft, we were very proud to be recognised at this level.
